Canon Business Copiers

Have you been needing to get a new copier for your business? Maybe you have a few quotes, and now it is time to make a choice of what copier to get. You may have gotten quotes for a copier or a multifunction printer. Canon copier dealers generally will quote a floor standing product, but you may be wondering if you have been quoted the right copier for your business.

We have been selling copiers for over a decade and we are authorized on several brands of copiers, included Canon copier sales. We can help you determine if the copier you got a quote for is right for your business.

We will cover some of the more robust Canon copiers and are not really going to delve into consumer based Canon products. The rule we will use for this article, is if it sells for less than $1,000 – it won’t be covered here. Just as a frame of reference, a $5000 Canon copier is about $100 per month.

Canon ImageRUNNER Advance Series

This series is the gold standard of Canon copiers. It helps office productivity hit new levels with efficient print, scan, and copy functions. These are robust copiers and any business will be happy to have a copier from Canon USA.

Color Copiers:

There are some different models in the color family of the ImageRUNNER product line. Here are some of the popular color copier models. We will also include a multifunction device or two in this mix. Our goal is to help get you the right Canon equipment for your office.

What do all these mean? The basic rule of thumb for Canon copier nomenclature is if it is 3 digits, like the C257iF then it is a desktop multifunction printer. If it is 4 digits like the C3830i then it is a floor standing copier. The C at the beginning means color. The last two digits on the C3830i indicate the print speed, in this case 30 pages per minute. The 38 or the 58 are the family the copiers belong to. Normally the higher the number the better the copier.

Canon follows the same basic rules with their black and white multifunction copier nomenclature rules as they do with their color copiers. 3 digits are desktop models and 4 digits are floor standing (with the last 2 digits being the print speed)

If you don’t print a ton and don’t need 11 x 17, your quoted Canon copier should be 3 digits. If you print a lot or need 11 x 17 paper, it should be a 4 digit, knowing the last two are the speed. Also, normally a new family or generation will climb up in numbers from a 6780i and the next generation will probably be the 6880i.

Getting a Canon copier doesn’t have to be that tricky, we would love to help you get a quote on the Canon machine that works best for you and your office!

We have the office printers to help your business. If you don’t want Canon, we also do sell and compare Xerox and HP printers, but we do love the Canon copier line for their reliability and amazing value for your business. We highly recommend Canon for any company who wants to take their business to the next level!
