The Basics

The first thing you should know is the Xerox Primelink series is a light production copier. What this means, in practical terms is that it was made to do a lot of printing and high quality printing. We would generally not recommend this series of copiers to companies who print less than 5000 color or 10000 black and white pages a month.

If you are doing a lot less printing, it may be wiser to consider a copier in the Xerox Altalink family of printers.

The Models

The normal models of Xerox Primelink copiers people look at are:

• Xerox Primelink C9065 (Color)
• Xerox Primelink C9070 (slightly faster than the C9065)
• Xerox Primelink B9100 (Black and White Only)
• Xerox Primelink B9110 (Slightly faster than the B9100)

The Cost of Leasing a Xerox Primelink Copier

On all of these models, if you are looking at a 5 year lease on a new Primelink, something is wrong if it is under $300 per month. Even $300 per month would be highly suspicious because that would have almost nothing useful included in the machine at that price. The average will normally be closer to $400 per month and a really well equipped one could be up to $600 per month for the copier.
