The Versalink B405 prints at up to 47 pages per minute and also includes standard copying, scanning and faxing features. This unit supports mobile printing and allows users to print from and scan to a variety of cloud-based apps.

This unit is supported by a 5′′ colour touchscreen with touch/swipe user functionality which can be used to enter the Xerox App Gallery, where users can add different applications to help tailor one-touch printing activities that match their workloads.

Standard B405 paper handling begins with a 550-sheet tray and a 150-sheet bypass.  The optimum capacity for paper is 2,300 sheets. Each tray supports paper sizes up to 8.5′′ x 14′′.

There is also an optional printer stand for storage of ink, toner and other materials. Duplexing  is standard .

Output is just a 250-sheet tray. A 60-sheet automatic reversing paper feeder is also available. There are no finishing options available. The maximum duty cycle goes up to 110,000 pages per month. Additionally, other functional features include scan to USB or email using compatible formats such as PDF and JPEG. Faxing requires a 33.6kpb router and is capable of LAN fax, direct fax and fax dialing.

Xerox provides other basic security features, such as secure copying, device verification, network verification, hard drive erase, IP address inspection and access restrictions, to name a few. 

There is also the Simple ID feature that allows individual users or groups to enter user identification and password once, and then enjoy easy, safe access to customized commands and presets.

Businesses can consider keeping costs low by making use of Xerox’s environment protection features, such as duplexing/Earth Smart and setting them as default for printing jobs.
